Job Description

What does working as a Home Care Assistant involve?

  • Providing Personal Care & Companionship services
  • Helping clients in and out of bed
  • Supporting clients with hobbies and activities
  • Providing a range of non-medical services

What hours would I work?
You will work on a permanent shift pattern, leaving you free to organise and enjoy your own personal time with friends and family. We have various shifts available and operate a week 1 and week 2 rota on a continuous cycle so you have a regular working pattern.

What happens when I start working at Minster Home Care?
Before you meet any of our clients, you will attend an induction at our office and a moving and handling training course. After this, you will shadow a colleague until you become comfortable and settle into your new role. As the business grows, there are often great opportunities to develop your career with various NVQ courses and accreditations available. All you need is a caring nature and a positive attitude!
