We are delighted to announce that we are now officially registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The road to registration has been a long journey since we started the process back in October 2020.
Our team has been working extremely hard behind the scenes to get the business up and running as well as to prepare for our interviews, which finally took place at the end of March 2021. The Minster Home Care team have shown a real passion and drive for the business since we started the registration process.
Our registration could not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the team at CQC Compliance Ltd. We have been working closely with them for a while now and our relationship has blossomed into something that will work long-term to ensure we are remaining compliant with the CQC.
Dez Ward, one of the Directors and co-founder said:
“We started Minster Home Care in 2020 after 15 years working within a domestic home franchise. This job helped me find a real passion for care and customer service. With more and more adults wanting to stay in their own homes in later life and along with my experience in working in a similar business model, we decided to take the plunge to start Minster Home Care and have never looked back. It truly is a dream come true for me and I will gain huge job satisfaction from knowing I have helped families and people who need our support to remain in their own homes.”
As we awaited our interview dates, we set-up our website, social media and marketing pages. This was due to the help and support provided by CQC Compliance Ltd’s sister company, TwentyOne12, who are experts in the field of health and social care marketing.
We relished in the time it took to register with the CQC as we were able to find our feet within the industry and establish our brand. We have been recruiting and training several new employees, as well as formulating a plan for the future and how Minster Home Care will expand within the coming years.

We have built this company from nothing and we now have a team of people who have a real passion to make a difference in people’s lives. Now that we have been registered, we can provide regulated activities to the people who need us the most.”
This is just the start for the Minster Home Care family and we cannot wait to meet all of our clients and start providing our all-important home care services to the people of York.
